Lorna Kerr: On the ball

Cricket scoring can be a stressful business, especially when you've got the world watching. But Lorna Kerr simply takes it all in her stride.
Having been a regular in the scorers' box at the Wanderers in Johannesburg for many years, Kerr is now in charge of the entire operation and when not at the ground, works for the company that makes cricket scoreboards. That role saw her travelling to the West Indies earlier this year to share her expertise with the scorers at the ICC Cricket World Cup.
It's all very technical with numerous people furiously typing away on computers as the match progresses, but the result is a wonderfully streamlined process which sees information being flashed up on the official stadium scoreboard just split seconds after it takes place on the field.
Karien caught up with Kerr to find out how it all works.
